Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Recepta ("Service") operated by us at hirecepta.com. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

Recepta provides an AI phone-receptionist platform. The Service routes incoming phone calls through partner infrastructure (Vapi.ai), uses AI models to generate replies in real time, and stores call transcripts and summaries in your dashboard. Phone numbers are provisioned through Vapi or third-party telecom partners.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have legal authority to enter into this agreement. Recepta is a business tool — accounts must represent a legitimate business, freelance practice, or sole proprietorship.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us at hello@hirecepta.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Recepta for any of the following:

  • Unlawful purposes, harassment, or fraud.
  • Outbound telemarketing to numbers on do-not-call lists, or robocalls in violation of TCPA, GDPR, ePrivacy, or any equivalent regulation in your jurisdiction.
  • Spam, scams, deceptive identity, or impersonating individuals or businesses you do not represent.
  • Collecting sensitive data (health, financial, government IDs) from callers without proper consent and security.
  • Reverse engineering the Service or interfering with its operation.
  • Any use that violates Vapi.ai, OpenAI, or other underlying providers' acceptable-use policies.

Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

5. Subscription & billing

Recepta is offered on a recurring subscription basis. Plans, included minutes, and overage rates are listed at our pricing page. Payments are processed by LemonSqueezy, who is the Merchant of Record. By subscribing you authorize automatic recurring charges until you cancel.

Phone-number costs and per-minute call costs are calculated based on your actual usage. If you exceed your plan's included minutes we will bill the overage rate stated on your plan.

6. Cancellation & refunds

You can cancel anytime from your dashboard or via the LemonSqueezy customer portal. Your service continues until the end of the current billing period and no further charges will be made. All sales are final and subscription fees are non-refundable, except in the limited circumstances described in our Refund Policy. Per-minute and phone-number fees are non-refundable in all cases.

7. Intellectual property

All software, designs, and content provided as part of the Service remain the property of Recepta. You retain ownership of your agent configurations, prompts, and call transcripts. You grant us a limited license to process this data solely to deliver the Service to you.

8. Third-party providers

Calls and AI responses depend on third-party providers (Vapi.ai, OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Deepgram). Their availability or pricing changes may affect the Service. We will give reasonable notice of material changes that affect you.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI responses may be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing transcripts, complying with consent and recording laws in your jurisdiction, and instructing the AI appropriately for your business. Recepta is not a substitute for legal, medical, financial, or emergency-services advice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recepta will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits or revenue, arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any direct damages is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Recepta harmless from any claim or demand arising out of your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms, abuse, or non-payment. You may close your account at any time from settings.

13. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. We'll notify you of material changes by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Karachi, Pakistan, unless required otherwise by applicable consumer-protection law.
